Dramatic Diplomacy: Opening the Bamboo Curtain is a web game built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Players assume the role of a Hong Kong-based junior curator responsible for organising three travelling art exhibitions during the Cold War. The game is built on historical case studies from the era.

The player/curator selects artwork based on aesthetic taste and curatorial vision rather than political calculation. However, as the exhibition travels, the political reality of "dramatic diplomacy" takes shape.

* Players who successfully navigate all three exhibition tours are promoted to Museum Director.
